How it works
Hold the mic while they speak
Press and hold to listen. MyTalker captures the whole sentence, even if the person pauses.
See it as words and pictures
What they said is shown back as a short, readable summary, with a picture for each key idea so it is easy to take in at a glance.
Build a reply and speak it
MyTalker offers reply choices and walks you through a tap or two, then says your answer out loud in a voice you choose.
Why it matters
Many AAC tools only help a person express themselves. Listen also helps with the receptive side, taking in a fast question and turning it into something clear, so a yes or no, a choice, or a full reply is within reach. It lowers the pressure of a live exchange at the deli counter, in class, or at the doctor.
Honest about how it runs
Speech is turned into text on your device. Turning that text into a short summary and reply suggestions can use an optional cloud AI; when it is off, MyTalker still pulls out key words on its own. Either way it works in your chosen language, and you can read more in our privacy notice.
